Welcome to The Awning Guy, Inc., where we really are more than just awnings! We initially started out in a garage offering just small custom awnings and repairs. After quickly outgrowing the garage, we rented a larger facility and expanded into boat covers and tent rentals, and the following summer, we added table and chair rentals to our rental services.
In 2003, we purchased the upholstery business from Seymour Glass, an established shop known throughout the area for quality and service. This acquisition enabled us to provide full upholstery service for automobiles, boats, residential and commercial furniture. The following year, we built and moved into our new 10,000 sq. ft. facility located at 1114 East 4 th Street. With the available space, we were able to create a new department, TAG Signs & Graphics. TAG offers custom signs, vehicle graphics, store fronts, banners, graphic design, and screen printing.
Our business philosophy is very simple – exceed customers’ expectations with quality and service! Adhering to these principals has enabled us to evolve into a company that provides unique services not found in this area, with each department employing full-time professionals dedicated to being the best in their field.
